In the heart of Chianti countryside, nastled among the hilly vineyards and olive groves near the ancient town of Castellina in Chianti, lies Sant'Agnese Farm that takes the name from the nearby nature reserve "Bosco Sant'Agnese".
Once Sant'Agnese Farm, today famous winery in Tuscany, was a rest area for weary travelers on the road from Florence to Siena and the property Sant'Agnese date back to the year 1000 Ad, when it belonged to religious order.
Sant'Agnese underwent his greatest change around three hundred years ago, when the property was bought by family whose descendants are still whit us today. The vineyards and the olive groves, located in Chianti Classico landscape, yield today, as they have done for over thousand years, produce fine wine and extra virgin olive oil of hight quality. Our wine have a important history, the Magnificent, for example, was praised by the Pope during a visit in Sant'Agnese Farm, in the eighteenth century, and Medioevum, whose history can be traced back to the year 1200 Ad.
